HOW IT WORKS

ANS Cardio is an FDA 510k cleared test that accurately and effectively assesses cardiovascular health.  This simple-to-use device uses advanced and innovative technology to analyze your pulse wave velocity and measure vascular elasticity and stiffness. In less than 5 minutes, ANS Cardio accurately provides the biological age of arteries, utilizing a finger probe to observe changes in blood flow, velocity and profile throughout the whole pulse wave.

ANS Cardio Assesment

DID YOU KNOW?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 600,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year*. Cardiovascular disease causes more deaths than cancer and chronic lower respiratory disease combined**. Some predictors of cardiovascular disease include autonomic imbalance, hypertension, stress, plaque buildup and family history.

EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES

ANS Cardio provides a safe and effective way to detect early symptoms of cardiovascular disease.

Accelerated Plesthysmography (APG)

APG result analysis can help your doctor:

  • Measure peripheral blood circulation and the condition of blood vesels.

  • Detect arteriosclerosis and degree of progression.

  • Monitor effects and progress of pharmaceutical treatments, as well as lifestyle changes.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

Monotonous or even HRV readings can be suggestive of an unhealthy heart. Doctors can use HRV readings to:

  • Predict cardiovascular disease.

  • Evaluate the autonomic nerve balance.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) provides a snapshot of your overall heart health by measuring beat-to-beat alterations in heart rate. The HRV readings also allow for evaluation of the autonomic nervous system and two of its components: the sympathetic nerve system (SNS) and parasympathetic nerve system (PNS). These systems manage your body’s flight or fight responses, and can lead to heart disease if unbalanced.

About Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

Using a safe, non-invasive finger probe, accelerated plethysmograph (APG) measures the blood circulation state and aging levels of your blood vessels. ANS Cardio generates a waveform pattern that ranks patients on a scale of 1 through 7, where higher levels reflect lower cardiovascular health. This helps doctors accurately detect arterial hardening and better understand the state of your vascular system.

About Accelerated Plethysmograph (APG)

ANS Cardio should be used for patients with any of the following conditions, medical history or treatments:
